Name: Saria Lashun (lash-oon)
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Appearance: Saria has long red hair, and is generally found in jeans, and a short sleeve shirt. Her backpack has long since been 'lost' and hence is forced to carry everything in her pockets, or not carry it at all, or go to the trouble of finding a new one. (And she loathes and dispises shopping with a passion.) *points to pic*
Orgin: Orginally coming from a small family, Saria grew up with only her mother, her father, and her younger brother, Joshua (aka Josh). Though poor they may have been, they were basically just as happy as any other family was. Apparently, though, her father was just putting on an act for the first 7 years of raising children. At one time, he truly had been happy, though soon he grew tired of scraping up pennies to pay bills, and suffer through the richies laughing at him in his raggedy clothing everywhere he went. And he left. Never explained why. Never showed indication of wanting to. Just left. That was all there was too it. Since then, Josh, Saria, and their mother lived on their own. 4 years later, when Saria was 11, her mother was kidnapped and killed by a large, and mean, biker gang. Being 3 years younger than Saria at the time, Saria was forced to circle her life around Josh, and ignore her own needs. All her effort went to vain, for the same gang that had killed her mother returned and did the same to Joshua.
Saria left immediately, though she was forced to do so entirely on foot - her family had never been able to afford a single pokemon, much less one such as Ponyta or Rapidash, or Pigeot (or any others that you could travel on or with), and she had little money. All her money came from the little odd jobs that she carried out on her way to the land of well, this place. (The Mystic Region.) Along the way, she worked for many people and many small companies, though none of her jobs were 'important' by any means, they earned her her living. At one job, she worked for a glass blower, and it was there that she had her first encounter with her new fav types of pokemon - a Charizard. Ever since she saw him, she knew that her pokemon would be, for the most part, fire or flying. She has never once forgotten her parents', or her brothers, fate. She does not intend to be broken down from tax-collectors, nor does she intend to ever be scared of gangs again. No, she plans to be strong. Very strong, with a team of trusting, highly levelled, loving, protective and friendly pokemon. That is something, however, she knows is hard to achieve. But she'll try... Success will be difficult. Much more so than for most people. After all, for the first 12 years of her life, she had close to no experience with pokemon of any sort....
Other info: She loves fire & flying types, but wants to have other varities both for defence and to experience every one of the wonders of pokemon.
Literacy: (If I still need to post here after my origin, I might just have to cry.)
