Name: Komoshiro Hanzo (Co-Mo-Chee-Row Han-So)
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Siblings: None
Aliases: Komo-kun, Komo-san
Appearance: Komoshiro stands at a good 6'8" tall, bearing an above-average physique. His hair is sleek black, done up in a traditional Japanese ponytail that reaches below the center of his back, but extends down to his waist when undone. Both his eyes are a deep crimson red, reminiscent of storybook demons. He'll usually wear a grey haori, and black hakama, with a dark green sash around his waist, and geta on his feet, a men's kimono in other words(See definitions for haori, hakama, and geta after the history).
History:
A - Komoshiro Hanzo knows not where he was born, for his parents only cared for him for a year before something happened to them, which he could not recall. He is of an American descent(Look-wise), but found himself in a Japanese family in the Kanto Region for the next nine years of his life. After becoming ten, he had developed into a serious person, despite his age, and became a Pokemon trainer. Literally spending four years to achieve his goal through rigorous training, Poke-capturing, battling, and of course gym battles, he eventually came to the Indigo Plateau, defeating the Elite Four and becoming a Master of Kanto.
B - One year later, Komoshiro learned of the Johto Region. He left his Pokemon with the Professor of Pallet Town, and ventured to the area, starting anew. It was a good five years in that region, with more challenges awaiting him this time around. In the end, however, he claimed another Master title, and was becoming known in the world. He returned to his home, hearing of the Hoenn Region as soon as he got back.
C - Once again leaving his new collection of Pokemon behind, he went to Hoenn, and six years it took for him to finish this place. A new Elite Four, and a grand Champion, posed a mighty threat, but in the end, victory was his to have, and now he considered himself a true Pokemon Master. One year later, in his own home at Pallet(His parents passed away during his Hoenn trip), he read up on what was called the 'Metaya Region'. A place he hadn't been to yet, he now decided to get back into the game. Komoshiro left Kanto once more, for another adventure...
NOTE ON CLOTHING:
Haori (‰HD) is a hip- or thigh-length kimono coat which adds formality. Haori were originally reserved for men, until fashions changed at the end of the Meiji period. They are now worn by both men and women, though women's kimono jackets tend to be longer.
Hakama (΄) is a divided or undivided skirt, rather like a very wide pair of pants, traditionally worn only by men but now worn also by women, and also worn in certain martial arts such as aikido. A hakama typically has pleats, a koshiita (a stiff or padded part in the lower back of the wearer), and himo (long lengths of fabric tied around the waist over an the obi, described below). Hakama are worn in several budo arts such as aikido, kendo, iaido and naginata. They can range from very formal to visiting wear, depending on pattern. While very formal women's outfits do not include hakama, men's usually do.
Geta (‰º‘Ê) are wooden sandals worn by men and women with yukata. A slightly different style of geta is worn by geisha.
